Inspired by the pueblo of Aguadilla, “The Garden of the Atlantic.”

A weary and aging mother caresses her newborn child. She nurtures the creature with love and hope of a better tomorrow. Above them blows Rafael Hernández Colón’s Campanitas de Cristal with their resounding song, and below flows the Ojo de Agua from the Parterre. The artist applies techniques of the great Puerto Rican printers Lorenzo Homar and Rafael Tufiño to create a print that presents iconic images of the historic and cultural center that is his hometown of Aguadilla.
